Cosmos

Freely flowering cosmos, sown after frost, grace gardens effortlessly. Within two months, they mature fully, offering continuous summer-to-fall blooms. Their daisy-like flowers atop slender stems charm bees, butterflies, and birds. With varied colors and foliage, they're beloved garden additions. In the southern U.S., consider pots to contain their invasive nature.

Brief and Glorious History of the Cosmo Flowers

Cosmos, first discovered by Spanish explorers in 16th Century Mexico, found its way to Madrid. It adorned English gardens by 1789, thanks to the ambassador's wife, before making its American debut in the mid-1800s.
